Telangana Ration Card Types
- APL(above poverty line) Ration Cards:- The applicants who want to apply for Telangana APL cards their an annual income of only 10,000. It’s possible or unlikely you can buy rations with this special card, the ration cards in TS are mainly used for Identity cards or proof of residence.
- BPL(Below poverty line) cards:- The BPL category is the citizens of the state who come below the state government’s definition of poverty. Each month, the BPL families receive 10 to 20 kg of rice grains at a very low cost as compared to the market prices, they also get a small quantity of sugar, wheat, rice, and other items.
- AY Ration Card:- The Antyodaya Card is provided to the older citizens of the state, this card provides them with 10kg of rice grains per month, and the age of the beneficiary should be about 65 years. This yellow card is given to families with irregular income.
- AAY Cards(Antyodaya Anna Yojana):- This card is given to families who are identified as malnourished and impoverished. Women, children older citizens, and unemployed people all can benefit from this card. This card will provide about 35 kg of rice to these people.
