The main objective of this scheme is to support new and young entrepreneurs to start small enterprises. The government will provide an amount of rupees 2 lakh per candidate. This amount will be given to the candidates for three years. This will help in boosting employment in the state.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this scheme are given below:-
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Assam.
- Small entrepreneurs will be able to enroll in this scheme.
- Women and SHGs will also be able to apply for this scheme.
- The candidate’s age should be between 28-40 years for the general category as of the first of April.
- Candidate’s age should be between 28-43 years for the SC/ST/OBC category as of the first of April.
- Applicants’ minimum qualification should be at least class 10.
- The applicant should have a scheduled commercial bank account before 31st December 2023.
- Candidate should not be a loan defaulter for any loan taken from the bank.
- Only one member of the family shall be eligible.
- Employees should be registered with employee exchange.
